The Reckoning Seminar Series is a four-part equity leadership professional learning opportunity. It was developed specifically for MSAN leaders and facilitated by Dr. Darnisa Amante-Jackson, President and Co-Founder of the Disruptive Equity Education Project. The series supports MSAN district leaders as they create and strengthen strategic district level roadmaps to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging-based initiatives (DBIE) and engender a culture of difficult conversation, relational trust, a DEEP Ethos to support culturally sustaining DBIE work. These transformative seminars are designed to address group learning principles while engaging participants in awareness, reflection, inquiry, narratives, and shifting mindsets. Content is delivered via video, texts, storytelling, collaborative discussion, and self-reflection.
